I'm going to need my extension for this turn until Wednesday night. I'm moving this weekend, and while I had already factored this in and expected to have time to do orders around this, I found out Monday night that my father is apparently dying. We're not close, hence why I just found this out, but I'm going to have to go out of state to take some of shit right after the move is done.
Since I'm neck deep in a war, I need to think about a lot of basic stuff that's ministerial in a normal turn (i.e. budgets, caravans, etc.). Plus, there's some conversations I need to have with a few different players/admin about planning the next turn. None of this stuff is really conducive to an extension since everyone else needs to get orders in on Sunday.
So, Mike, would you be comfortable essentially NPC'ing me this turn based on some general guidelines I give you? It seems like that might be a preferable alternative to everyone waiting for several days for my orders or the course of the game being affected by my inability to be online to negotiate and plan.
We're starting to move today and the main moving will be tomorrow. I'm supposed to have wi-fi at the new apt by tomorrow night, so I may be able to get on and do orders then but I can't guarantee that I'll have the opportunity or be able to devote my energies to thinking about the game after moving all day. Once we quit for the night tonight, I'll be online if anyone wants to discuss stuff with me. AIM is TipTravHoot. No guarantees as to how long I'll be around or how focused I'll be on the game.
