Ocia (5/6/6) will continue to work through her agents in Glamorgan with her budget of 2,040 coins.
1) Smearing Freya Abbadon's reputation by spreading the word that she killed her mother and manufacturing evidence and testimony that supports it.
2) Attempting to build a pro-Cadeyrn sentiment within the populace and the Abbadon Army. We can hopefully convince a portion of Freya's forces and subject in Glamorgan to turn on her and stage some sort of rebellion and/or riot. If Freya is killed even better.
3) Covering our tracks so that our involvement is not discovered. Any claim by Freya that we are responsible is clearly a desperate lie to save herself
4) Gathering information on Glamorgan's defences.
Twilita (6/2/4) must work on getting pregnant with Cadeyrn's baby. The surest way to gain support for Cadeyrn's succession is to create an heir. Otherwise, she is to run counter-intrigue in Gloucester, thwarting the efforts of other houses against us.
Cairistiona (4/1/3) will visit Cheshire and gather information on its defences. If somebody else is attacking Cheshire, check out Upper Midlands instead.
Military Orders
The involvement of House Varosean has complicated our plans to remove Freya from power in Glamorgan. While we work on negotiations and gaining support for Cadeyrn's claim, it will be necessary to seize Shropshire as a means to consolidate our power base in the west and provide Cadeyrn with land and funds.
Numerius is called upon to raise three units of peasants in Herefordshire and rendezvous with our forces.
A unit of peasants will also be raised in Gloucester, creating the following order of battle:
Commander: Beneferrus (5/6/4)
1st Gloucester Knights (experienced)
2nd Gloucester Men-at-arms
1st Gloucester Peasants
Sub-Commander 1: Numerius (6/2/4)
1st Herefordshire Peasants
2nd Herefordshire Peasants
3rd Herefordshire Peasants
Sub-Commander 2: Cadeyrn (3/2/3)
Abbadon Knights
Total- 100 knights, 250 men-at-arms, 3,000 peasants
The forces above will enter Shropshire and defeat any army which opposes us there. Peasants will be granted quarter.
Upon taking control of the province, Cadeyrn shall be installed as its lord and a vassal of House Auxsylvus. He and his knights will remain there and he will use the funds there to build up an army capable of confronting his sister.
The 2nd Gloucester Men-at-arms will be permanently transferred to Herefordshire and Numerius as reward for his service.
All other units will return to home provinces and demobilize/heal.
Unless Gloucester is under siege, in which case all units should head south to break the siege.
Atroxus (5/6/4) will command the 1st Gloucester Men-at-arms (experienced) in escorting the caravans from Gloucester and Herefordshire through Hampshire to Dorset.
Upon arrival to Dorset, he will meet with Lord Auxentius on our behalf and convey our optimism for our new arrangement, he will attempt to win Auxentius over to our side in the Abbadon succession dispute, and offer him a share of the gold produced by Camarthen's mines if he will back up Cadeyrn's right to both provinces. As a Roman and a Christian, Auxentius should support the right of MALE offspring to be the sole heir.
Secondarily, he will keep an eye on the Saxon representatives from Dux Brogan who have announced plans to visit Dorset, and determine the purpose of their visit to Dorset, which we find highly suspicious and may be a plot to assassinate Auxentius. Also note how well Dorset is defended.
Gaius (5/4/2) is responsible for the defense of Gloucester if it comes under attack, by raising zero-land peasant levies to stall an invading army long enough for our forces to return from Shropshire and/or aid to come from Lord Auxentius, as he promised to his vassals.
